Most designers in Cyprus charge a fixed project fee for clearly defined work—whether that’s a full renovation, furnishing a new home, or redesigning a few key rooms. This gives you clarity and confidence on costs from the start.

That flat fee usually includes:

- Concept development

- Layouts and drawings

- Moodboards, selections, and documentation

- Project guidance within the defined scope

2. Hourly support for extra or flexible tasks

Need help just now and then, or want to handle most things yourself?

Designers also offer hourly support—ideal for clients who want:

- Feedback on their own ideas

- Help choosing specific items

- A few consultations to make sure everything flows well

In full-scope projects, the hourly rate also applies if additional tasks come up beyond the original agreement—for example, adding a new space halfway through the project.

3. Commission or bonuses from suppliers — but you still win

Here’s something that surprises many clients:

Designers often work with shops and suppliers long-term, which means they can unlock better prices than the general public.

In return, the shop may offer the designer a modest commission or volume-based bonus. But instead of inflating your cost, these relationships usually result in exclusive discounts for you.

It’s one of the reasons why a full-service project (including renovation management) is only slightly more expensive than design-only packages—because part of the designer’s fee is absorbed through trade pricing and smoother execution.
