Can the designer manage subcontractors and deliveries if I’m not in Cyprus full-time?

Absolutely. In fact, about half of our clients don’t live in Cyprus permanently. For many, the property here is a holiday home or an investment, and they might only visit a few weeks a year. That’s why our process is designed to run smoothly without you having to be here in person.

How it works
The most important thing is that your designer has access to the property, either with a physical key or through a smart lock. We can’t rely on you to be there to open the door for deliveries or tradespeople, so this step is essential from the start.

From there, we split the work into phases:

1. Concept and design
This is where we create mood boards, select materials, and plan the layout. Everything can be reviewed online - via email, video calls, or shared project boards. Many clients prefer to see physical samples of fabrics or tiles to feel their texture and see the real colours, but this is entirely up to you. It’s a personal choice, not a necessity.

2. Realisation and coordination
Once the design is approved and contracts are signed, your presence is no longer needed. We handle all the coordination with subcontractors, arrange and receive deliveries, and oversee the installation work. Think of us as your on-the-ground project manager - checking every detail so you don’t have to.

3. The big reveal
Our favourite way to work is to invite you back only when the project is complete, so you walk into a fully finished space - the curtains hung, the art on the walls, and yes, the last pillow perfectly fluffed. That’s when the wow moment really happens.

Living abroad shouldn’t be a barrier to creating your dream home in Cyprus. With the right designer, you can be as involved - or as hands-off - as you want, and still end up with a space that feels completely yours.
